Our Commitment
At Learn with Friends, we want you to have a positive learning experience. We offer fair refund options while ensuring the sustainability of our service for all learners and teachers.
Trial Class
If you're not satisfied with your first class, you may request a refund within 7 days of the class. We may ask for brief feedback to help us improve our service.
Class Packages
For class packages purchased, the following refund policy applies:
- Within 14 days of purchase (unused classes only): Full refund available for any unused classes
- 15-30 days after purchase: Refund available for unused classes, minus a 15% administration fee
- After 30 days: No cash refunds. Unused classes remain valid and can be used within 6 months of original purchase date, or credited toward future bookings
- Partially used packages: Only unused classes are eligible for refund, calculated at the per-class rate for your group size
Long-term Commitment Packages
For discounted 6, 9, or 12-month packages, early cancellation refunds will be calculated at the standard (non-discounted) per-class rate for classes already taken. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
More than 48 hours before class: Free rescheduling or credit for a future class
24-48 hours before class: One free reschedule per month; additional reschedules may incur a small fee
Less than 24 hours before class: The class will be marked as attended. No refund or credit available
No-shows: Classes missed without prior notice will be marked as attended. No refunds or credits available
Group Coordination
As our classes are group-based, cancellations affect teachers and other group members. We encourage groups to coordinate schedules in advance. Individual cancellations within a group do not entitle other members to refunds.
Teacher or Platform Cancellations
If a class is cancelled by Learn with Friends or by the teacher, you will receive a full credit for a replacement class or, upon request, a refund for that specific class.
Technical Issues
If technical issues on our platform prevent you from attending a class, please contact us within 24 hours. We will provide a credit for a replacement class. Refunds for technical issues are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Please note: Technical issues on your end (internet connection, device problems, etc.) do not qualify for refunds or credits.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at hello@learnwithfriends.co.uk
- Include your account email and booking reference
- Describe the reason for your refund request
- Submit your request within 30 days of purchase for package refunds
We aim to review all refund requests within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Exceptions & Discretion
We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of policy abuse, repeated cancellations, or violation of our Terms of Service. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), we may consider refund requests outside of this policy at our discretion.
